About the Event

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION IN ITS ENTIRETY

The intention of the marriage between these two practices is to create a solid platform within the individual so that one is then better equipped to dive deeply into the inner world. Within this space, we can explore consciousness and make room for any healing and detoxification that needs to occur to unfold.

Through our own deep work with these plants and yoga, we have established an intimate relationship with these practices and our purpose is to share them with our brothers and sisters. We strive to help our participants establish their own healthy relationship with these modalities so that it can further one’s evolution and clarity within themselves.

During these 3 sacred days, we will be sitting with our plant teachers and utilising tools from the practice of yoga to help us unravel and untangle. Our plant teachers will consist of ceremonial cacao (Bali), Hapé (pronounced Rapé, Brazil), Santa Maria (North America), and Sacred Fungus (Mexico). We will be in beautiful country Victoria to reconnect back to Mother Earth and reconnect with our Self.

You will have our support before, during and after this process, as we will be available to assist you with integrating your experience. Often times, this part (integration) is just as, if not more important than the process itself.

We are very excited to share these healing modalities to the ones seeking it. We always make sure that we hold this space with integrity and respect.  Being so close to Mother Nature and working with these amazing teachers reminds us of the magic we live within everyday.

We hope to see you there and we look forward to serving each one of you.

Accommodation:

Accommodation details will be provided closer to the date of the retreat. Melbourne is known to have 4 seasons in 1 day so please pack accordingly. Bring enough clothes to keep you warm at night. You are welcome to arrive at any time after 5:00 pm. Our 1st ceremony will start at 7:30 pm on Friday night.

Food:

We will be eating lightly during this weekend to keep the body clean. This allows the medicines to move through easily. A light meal will be served on Friday and Saturday night after our ceremonies to help us ground back into our bodies. An optional light breakfast will be served on Saturday morning after our yoga practice and group breakfast on Sunday before we close the retreat. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

Diet:

Fasting the day of is recommended. However, if you must eat, please do not eat anything after 2 pm on the ceremony day. We recommend no pork or red meat at least 5 days before. Doing a sugar detox is also advisable. It is EXTREMELY important to arrive sober and to avoid any intoxicants in the days leading up to and following the ceremony. If you need advice on how to do this, please PM us.

Medicine Description:

Hape': During this session, we will work with Sacred Hape to clear out any old stagnant energy that exists in the body before working with the other medicines. Traditionally, Amazonians take Hape' (pronounced Rape') to alleviate stress, fear or emotions before a hunt or battle.

Cacao: Is known to have a powerful effect on opening the heart and is rich in antioxidants. This is served before Santa Maria so that the heart is already open when we take this medicine in.

Santa Maria: This medicine has been used to emotionally detox the participant while keeping their heart open enough to keep them grounded.

Sacred Fungus: Also known as Soma, Sacred Fungus is well known for purging the mind of negative thoughts and reversing the blood flow from the reptilian brain to the higher faculties. This allows for deep introspection and clarity.

Please contact us if you require any further information about these medicines.
